For our Restaurant we are currently looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated breakfast chef with relevant work experience cooking and controls a diversity of cooking techniques.

As breakfast chef you will be responsible for the breakfast for all guests of our hotel, and we are looking for someone who can handle this responsibility.

• Performing mise and place tasks regarding the breakfast.
• Evaluating the ingredients to be used on freshness, shelf life, quality, etc.

• Checking of the quality, taste, color, freshness, and readiness of prepared dishes.
• Preparing orders using a la carte cooking techniques, portioning and garnishing according to the standards during the breakfast.
• Making sure that the buffets are filled, nice set up and decorated.
• Planning the daily work responsibilities and ordering of needed supplies and ingredients by suppliers.
• Receiving, controlling and organizing of the ordered items, protecting the shelf life and hygiene.  

• A completed cooks diploma (SVH Zelfstandig werkend Kok).
• Experience in large hotel kitchens.
• Control over a diversity of cooking techniques.
• Ability to speak Dutch and/or English.
• Motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
• Enjoys interacting with guests.
  

• Full-time contract of 38 hours per week
• This position is classified in scale 5 with a salary between the €2052,36 - €2524,17 gross per month according to the Horeca CAO.
• 25 vacation days per year
• Travel allowance up to €150,- per month, based on the amount of km.
